nord has switches that operate digital drawbars – enableing the organ sounds to be more authentic. They dont actually have drawbars as such.

ok, ok, so how about the nord has digital drawbar controls (as in LED’s) and the hammond has analogue drawbar controls (as in things that you can grab an move).

It’s not the drawbars that are digital or anolge (tube driven). The Darbars are just controls. The Nord is a sampled organ tone. The hammonds (older ones) are a tone generator. The new hammond organs have the same style drawbars but the organ is solid state.
