The guitar lessons are back, with a great approach to the study of Pentatonic Scales! From my experience, this is an area that a lot of guitar players without private instruction struggle with. Some people excel at this naturally. Others, like myself, needed to work on it a bit. So this is my technique and regiment that I came up with for practicing pentatonics until I could get them DOWN! Part 1 of this video series details Major and Minor Pentatonics: -What are they? -How YOU can use them to improve your playing -What are the 5 main patterns, or boxes -Some other ways of looking at pentatonic scales to move between boxes Be sure to check out Part 2 of this video for the complete lesson.
