They are from the library of tracks that Pete Anderson made for Guitar Center’s King of the Blues competition from this past year, of which I was also a contestant. Although blues calls for a certain “type” of player, there are a few players over the past year that i’ve studied that have adapted more of a jazz flare to standard blues progressions. Since 7th chords open themselves up to so many possibilities, it’s easier for me to make decisions on the guitar that I end up enjoying. I will always like a flat 7. Flat 7 is MY number.
